Light Eclipse

The sun hides behind shaded walls when darkness descends and shadows rise.
The sky grows dimmer yet still feels so bold as the day fades and night falls.

However, a thread of light soon starts to develop and a gleam appears.
The battle is over, the sun returns, the night flees, and the day triumphs.

Even shadows have a role; they help us learn to deal with light.
The cycle repeats itself, the light remains, and the darkness subsides to reveal the day.

Thank you, Hilda, for your lovely comment! Your description of imagining the shadows growing and the brief moment of an eclipse captures the essence of the cycle I wanted to convey. I'm glad you experienced it that way!
