Light Art

He veiled her face, began to paint her, with the art of his mind. Under his ever-moving brush her face kept changing, yet always she was beautiful, the light within her a shimmering facet of a perfect prism. Before the sitting, she had complained, that her ugliness could not be captured, that only the cold mask of reality could depict her physical flaws. Hundreds of years later, her portrait hangs in enigmatic splendor. Many are enthralled, some see nothing special, yet she remains forever, beyond beautiful.

Temporal shift to "Hundreds of years later" emphasizes the lasting impact of art, as the woman's portrait continues to evoke varied responses.. Some are enthralled, appreciating the depth and beauty captured by the artist's interpretation, while others may see nothing special, underscoring the subjective nature of art appreciation... In essence, the poem invites reflection on the transformative power of art, the fluidity of beauty, and the enduring allure of a subject captured through the lens.
