Light Arrives In the Darkness
Not much light in the light.
Not much in the sunny glare.
Not much seen from the two tarnished windows.
Grey matter slumbers deep in the lizard,
If you seek the light stay where the shadows dance,
see the jewel set within its unlit bezel.
Nothing original arrives while staring at the sun.
Light is always in the dark we shun.
