Life's Thorns and Roses
Those who are mad
may not always be bad.
Those who are smart
may turn out to be the brat.
Those who are kind
may be very hard to find.
Those who are rich
may not always see the ditch.
Those who are pure
may sometimes be poor.
Life just metes out its doses
in both thorns and roses.
