Lifeline
My lifeline was severed,
I scream but no one hears.
No communication, no oxygen.
My god, I’m going to die out here,
doomed to float around
in black nothingness,
prisoner of my fears,
agoraphobic and claustrophobic,
until my brain shuts down.
And my killer watches.
