Life Story

I was beaten
With a belt or a hand
Time after time
When I supposedly did wrong
They never warned
Just did
They don't care
So why should I
This is my life story
And I've chosen
Chosen the dark road
They always pushed me
Told me to do my best
But my best was never goo enough
They beat
They yelled
But not once did they ever think
That it would effect me
From 1-13 I have no recollection of happiness
There's a gap of where my memories should be
This is my life story
Cut short

No one can live your life for you. You have to do what you have to do. Some people carry more than their share. I agree, that it is just not fair. But what you know can shine a light. And TOGETHER we can win this fight.

Reminds me of the Rolling Stones song - "Jumping Jack Flash" - hope your later life turned and will turn out better. Peace & blessings Matthew Anish

New memories and time helps push those old memories in the past, in the past. The energy of positive people help, isolation does not help...Nice write from the heart. This is healthy for you to share, you deserve life, you deserve to be happy :-)

Sad, the hand of child abuse weighs heavy through out the years. Leaving scars that never seem to heal. Excellent write.
