Life Spent All Alone
Listen to poem:
Abandoned by love and sent to the shore
The waves of despair have set me aside
Where amidst sweet sorrows of tears do pour
Upon where ambient anguish does hide
Sacrificial skies swallow only hope
Dispersed ruins of the depriving deep
A seductive sanctioned slippery slope
Where lachrymal waters wandering weep
Submissive solitudes manic the mist
Dissolute dungeons captured by the sand
My soul enslaved eternal by loves missed
Tangled and torn what the demons demand
Life cornered by a maniacal mind
Within the abysses of my confined.
