Life Is So Beautiful

With open arms, she welcomed her child, as the tears of love, met her gleaming smile. Her heart was glowing, she had followed through, those nine months of wonder, of what will I do. From the very first touch, as she held her close, a precious life, was what she chose. So many gave advice, but she told them no, a life is growing, I already love her so. Her decision was final, this baby will live, and to a childless couple, she will be a gift. Only eighteen, but older by life, she followed her heart, to do what was right. Now her baby, is someone's world, love is so beautiful, and surrounds her little girl.

This is a beautiful poem and I agree with the others that this is an unselfish, courageous act. So many people can't have children and what a beautiful gift for all involved. Excellent write! Love and blessings, Robin
