Life Is a Race, Run It Well
Life is a Race, Run it Well
6-4-2016
Running, running, life is analogous to a foot race,
Some run a distance others appear to run in place.
Each day at sunrise appears to emerge a life flap,
And at each day’s sunset God counts one more lap.
God’s chooses many for marathons, some run a dash,
Certain races are ended in little more than a flash.
As we approach the finish line many finally realize,
They’ve been weighed and wanting and get no prize.
“Don’t be weighed in the balance and found wanting”
For those who endure to the end are the winners
