Life Insurance

Of a million stars
I indulge to see
Light so traveled
How few still be

Of a million fates
I am guaranteed one
So I bask in the life
Of my one little Sun

A charming poem that says so much about the adventurous part of you that lives in gratitude.

Love this poem! Very existential, which is a breath of fresh air for a free thinker. I got a lot out of this brief poem. Ty for sharing your deep thoughts. Marvelous poem w/such depth of thought/simplicity of expression. A 7 w/bells and whistles. Love and kisses to you, dear.

Hello Maureen. I'm sorry I missed this first time around. I see the meaning of life insurance. You were cleaver with that. Your words are actually beautiful within your entry. And yes that one little Sun to which you state there are no words for it. This is lovely. Well done

Your other poem intrigued me, so I had to read this one. It's very telling of your nature, and I, for one, appreciate your poem. Many on this site won't read a poem if they're not captured by the title. It's their loss. Just keep writing.

Thank you Lin, it was a funny and inspiring realization, and further study in the odd, wonderful and silly ways we are so "human". Cheers! mo
