Life in Three

We are a trinity of mind, soul, and spirit. Our bodies too have this construct brain and blood and breath This pattern of three proves to me the awesome power of God For nature always testifies of the Spirit, if seen with open eyes life given and kept by His hand the mind, the brain and nervous system can be compared to God the Father In control of all these, commands given and received Without the commands of the brain, all else would fail and we could not live the heart, the blood can be compared to the Son To Jesus who shed his blood for remission of sin, Jesus who teaches love, in the shape of a heart The heart which pumps life giving blood to the rest of the body, without which we could not live the respiratory system compared to the Holy Spirit Which means Rûach in the Hebrew tongue and Pneuma in the Greek Rûach and Pneuma, the Spirit, means air and breath The air we take in and breathe in our lungs without which we could not live To live in this flesh we need all three functions, brain, heart, lungs, brain, blood, breath to live in the Spirit we need all three The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit How amazing are the works of His hands

I've done much research on the trinity doctrine over the years. The concept can be found in heathen religions that predate Christianity by thousands of years. The Egyptians and Babylonians had their trinities, among others. The trinity concept was adopted into the (Roman Catholic) church through a series of councils in the 4th century, some three hundred plus years after Jesus and the Bible writers were off the scene. Do you believe those Catholic bishops were inspired?

PS. If you go to JW.org and type trinity in the search engine, then click publications at the top a brochure will appear titled: Should you believe in the trinity? It's loaded with scholarly and historical references and citations. It's a place to start anyway

You should never take anyone based on their words alone. Good for you. Research and personal study are essential. I'm available if you want to discuss privately. :)

Thank you Tom! I appreciate the compliment very much and that you read with thought and meditation. I'll consider what you've said and pray and study. It's not you, but i no longer believe blindly what anyone tells me. I ask for guidance and study for myself. But I do value the input others give and always listen. Thank you for offering me your wisdom on this. Xo

I absolutely believe the three exist: Jehovah the Father, Jesus the firstborn of all creation and the Holy Spirit, the power of God. They're simply not three in one. As far as your poem dear Crystol, your writing skills continue to improve from week to week :)

But if you want to comment on the poem itself I'm totally ready to reply to that. Xo

I believe the concept can be seen in the world because God created it. I've never done a Bible study solely on the trinity as a doctrine but I've hit on enough to believe in the 3 aspects of God, that the 3 exist. I'll have to study further if you want to get into a theological discussion though.

Or could it have been a ploy of the devil to corrupt Christianity by reintroducing his ancient twisted concept of God? Something to consider
