Life Gently Whispers

As a youth, the days seemed too short
the months and the years ever so long

Yet now that the tables have turned
life gently whispers a different song

Hello Gershon ... how true. It seemed like ages to reach 18, then 21; but now, where did all those years go - thanks again Gershon - Lindsay

Yes time changes doesn’t it… that last line—just pure poetry :)

Yes I find time accelerates the more I get older, especially around Christmas!

Gotta put that foot on the brake, Michelle. Time's to precious to let it speed by. Happy Holidays, Gershon

I hear it! Thought it was the grass whispering to the trees. (Ref. The old ‘Ink Spots’ number - you have to be well on in years to remember them). Oh! Oh! I’m rambling again - another sign! Nice one Gershon! Have a Merry little Christmas.

Rambling is good, Geoffrey! You're just a rambling, gambling man! Yeah, right. Me, too. lol. Season's best to you, Gershon

My father used to indoctrinate me about aging. Now I'm the one giving the sermon. Time unravels truth. Thanks for a valuable reminder, Gershon...ab

They say that we turn into our parents as we climb the chronological ladder. Mostly right, I think. :)

Quite true.... ! We no more hear a rap or rock music.... but just a soft croon! Temperaments and tastes change with age... can't help Gershon...

As long as we can hear, we can be grateful for whatever is whispered our way. Blessings, Gershon
