Notes About The Poem

Sonnet, ( Life Finally Teaches Us That Time Never Waits)
Note-
Saddest notes played in late midnight hours,
are regrets falling like rain from darkened towers
yet no man is immune from this darken curse
for life is a play lived with no time to rehearse.

Life Flees, As If Faint Whispers In Moaning Winds

Life Flees, As If Faint Whispers In Moaning Winds

As fleeting hours flew into eternal abyss
once youth and love imagined to dream
so went grave error that time allows this
facing life, always with full head of steam.

We marvel at the beauty of ancient oaks
majestic towers stretching to eager skies
oft captured in the glory of artistic strokes
yet burdened by this world of worldly lies.

Weep not for more, for dying is our Fate
and task of living well often most hard
if one has learned and loved, they can relate
evil world is a test, just ask any bard.

Life flees, as if faint whispers in moaning winds.
Yet we all feign power, to so mold how it ends.

My dear friend, your deep poem rings with thoughtful and meaningful truths. Your glorious sonnet so beautifully expresses how life, and trying to live it well, is but a brief whisper in the winds of Fate. Your couplet is especially insightful to close this splendid and profound poem, Robert. A shining gem of rare beauty! Warmest wishes always my wonderful friend.. ~Susan

Earthly life is a play for love...we as vessels decide what to do with it...we are all born out of love...we all have the capacity for love...how much we want to give or take, is up to us...so we learn...superb write my friend...love & light...^WW^
