Life is like a book
each day finds its nook
to go back and look
what fills every page
did we set the stage
to enjoy the good
cast away bad wood
live the best we could
Did our love show through
trying to pursue
being kind and true
to our kin and friends
counting dividends
showing that love mends
if so, pages tell
of a life lived well
