We are vaccinated for a few months now, I believe we will be offered a booster shortly. The virus is still active and the thought of ending up in hospital! well need I say more. So pleased you both continue to regain your strength..Delice

Delice, I think maybe the first of October boosters will be available for the elderly and some others who have health problems but I have found the hard way that as the older vaccination is its potency gets ineffective so a booster is needed. I hope in the future the boosters will have the most recent strains resistance in them. We are up and about trying to gain our strength. I pared some pears yesterday and put them in sugar so this morning I cooked them and now we have some pear preserves. I'm exhausted. Sara

Heidi, Yes, it is. We had two to die in our church from it and a whole lot more that we sick including us despite the fact that we had the vaccination but we were getting at the end of its effectiveness. I hope to get a booster as soon as they release it. Sara

Kim, It would be hard to be separated from family during such a terrible time but no one would want to give it to their family. We did not have to go to the hospital but my daughters did get an ambulance down here to take me there but they said I would have to wait in the ambulance at least 3 hours which was not possible with the terrible upset stomach I had. Sara

Victor, I don't see how those who have not had the vaccination make it especially if they are older like my husband and me. Two in our church have died from it. We all came down with it about the same time those that died did not have the vaccinations. Sara

Lasaad, I read an article on the internet this morning about a news reporter who had been vaccinated and came down with a break through case like us at about the same time. He said that he had gotten careless and then did not know he had it and exposed so many members of his family. At least we did not expose anyone out of our household. We are much better, gaining our strength back and are back eating a little better so all good news. Your visit brightens my morning while the rain still comes down in Georgia. Sara

Judy, We are getting better and it was not the vaccination but COVID itself that caused our malady. We don't know where we got it but we got it. It is one tough illness. Without God we would not have made it. He sustained us when we could not do for ourselves. Thanks for dropping by. Sara
