Life - Prelude

You knit me together in my mother’s womb Then you prepare an ultimate destiny for me You slowly guide me towards your will And on the way you gave a lot to me So mysterious the life you gave me But just as mysterious it is This life is so magnificent And you gave it as your gift Like a diamond from ashes Carefully you trimmed my life Into a fine piece of gem into your eyes ‘Til it becomes so polished that I could not ask for more In this life that you gave You poured out yourself You even created me in thy own image And make me king of this world © Philippine Copyright 2005 (11/04/05) by Michael Hilario
