Life - Cherish the Day

As we awake from a slumber Life begins to unfold And what we do in those moments Of course, Is yet to be known Typically, we do what we value Instinctually we repeat it our whole life Sometimes it works in our favor Sometimes it becomes our worst vice So now we are here Good or bad, it is so Inquisitive, some seek out knowledge Defeated, some would rather not know The greatest cause of our suffering Is our resistance to what is You can accept life for what's happening Or you can be miserable wishing you never lived Life is truly indifferent So try to accept whatever life brings our way There will be joy and suffering Life - an opportunity to cherish the day
