Lie By Omission

You whispered to me ‘I know how to love,’ I think, am I an echo or clear sound? There’s a question I need to get rid of; Do you think of me when I’m not around? The next time you see me may be the last, perhaps I should say that I adore you; Don’t let precious moments go by so fast regret and realize how fast time flew; Hang on to every moment we’re given, holding tightly to a faded snapshot; Staying quiet? A lie by omission; Cannot ask you to say what I have not; I try and speak then my courage just snaps, I will love you until the stars collapse.

I like the question, though is it a lie or fear of the unknown
