Letting Go and Hanging On With Darren White

Each new day, each long night I reach for you who gave me life. You search for you in me, as life has gone My heart bleeds life into you who gave and gave, now fading so fast In time undefined, conversation left stranded we reach out, we let go, empty handed cluelessly knowing. you smile, laugh broadly greet people in passing no face needs a name somethings don't ever change hearts will always hang on

Nice poem, Sara Ella. I'm sure the situation with your mother is very difficult but she must have a big heart to go with those big smiles.

This was sadly beautiful Sara and that last stanza was heart breaking to me. "no face needs a name" That line alone made me tear up. I can't even imagine what that must be like. Very nicely written my friend.
