Letter To Our Children
Here we are, on planet earth
In human form, with senses five
God wishes heart bubbles with mirth
That stirrings of love, joyfully come alive
God’s plan seems easy and fun at first glance
But looking outward, attention externalised
Bemused by illusions, we enter trance
And truth of soul is never realised
If God is, why does He hide
Why are we in this form confined
If God’s omnipresent, He must be inside
How may ultimate truth of existence be divined
Dear child, such are questions we must ask
That the ultimate truth be known to us
Let us then get down to the task
That fears no longer nonplus
We are alive, this we know
The source then must be within
In staid silence making thoughts slow
Throb of heart beckons, so let’s go therein
Dear child, this is a journey we each take alone
It is a direct inquiry to become self-aware
Inner polarity of senses in silence hone
With vastness of space, gently pair
Keeping alive innocence childlike
Let heart be pure and our touch gentle
Love magnetism invoked, bliss beats spike
We then attain direct wisdom transcendental
No sermons or books can teach us to be as such
This is a becoming, a transmutation of form
Feeling, not thinking, we learn by touch
Truth of God’s sublime caress warm
