Letter To a Lover
I am writing to you now
Because my voice is weak
I have so much to say
but for unknown reasons
I cannot speak
I have it down on paper
How I feel about you
Here, take this, read it
I hope you feel the same way too.

I want to be the electrical current
Surging through your nerves
A drug induced stimulant
It's your body I want served
To take your body,
Infiltrate your mind
I asked god for a helping hand
I believe you're his sign
I wish that you could see me
In the way that I see you now
Like the way a king feels
Upon receiving his crown
Like total amazement, the thrill of
The rapid waters white
The pure joy of a blind man
If given back his sight
