It is my greatest pleasure to be alone
To hear again the grey gulls guttural song.
My double sails are filled with gusty strong wind.
So good to feel heaven's peace far from mankind.

The shore is well far away but safely so,
Especially since now the strong wind blows slow.
Around the boat so many diverse fish swim,
Afraid of their destiny that can be grim.

Are they afraid of the dolphins jumping high
Up in foamy sea, they jump towards the sky.
But far, far away the reddish sun goes down
All neon lights are now bright in the small town .

Fiddle with the turn-and-bank indicator.
I return home alone, eat and sleep later.

There are times when I enjoy sharing natures sights and sounds with others, but more often we see and hear much better when we're alone with our own thoughts. A sweet write, Victor.

Victor, The whispers of your heart and soul are palpable here. Beautifully expressed images and emotions . The ocean is one of the best places to feel this merging with Mother Nature . Loved it …. Blessings, Susan :)

As always, Victor, your images capture the essence of the scenes perfectly. There is nothing better than taking a boat tour on the sea. You had a great time traveling through the sea, taking in the sights and sounds.

So sad the loneliness, Victor, solitude is nice, especially in a boat without a care, where the world seem so far away. Great poem.
