Let There Be Light

And God said let there be light and there was! Light so bright, Eve's hair shone and Adam's teeth twinkled! Light in the darkness of eternity lightening up trails never fully imagined (imagination having not yet been invented). Yep, ol' God he lit that fire 'neath Eve and Adam. And Adam got mad 'cause he thought that God had him in an impossible situation. “Who is this God who makes me feel like when a good lookin' woman offers me fruit off a tree I can't take it??” Adam got all rebellious. His bowels felt eerily jello-ish. He acted impulsively, set the course for humanity... too bad Adam didn't have a mother.

Hey Nan perhaps you'd consisder re labeling this Verse [or sending me soup mail to explain the type of sonnet it is I know there are many types yet I don't see this as a asonnet?] It's a unique write and tickled my funny bone yet I like the verses labeled correctly for the reader. Happy Holy Days!

Hey Debbie, I'll send you a Soupmail to this effect, too... according to the Soup glossary of Forms of Poetry, a sonnets are "Lyric poems that are 14 lines that usually have one or more conventional rhyme schemes." It is a very broad definintion which I believe what I wrote fits. If you believe otherwise, please let me know why and I will re-assess, thanks and beauty days to ya :)
