Let The Heart Speak

Let the heart speak! knowing its mind and own place, knowing its opulent space -- knowing our lies and truths, the shallow or depth of window-eyes, the soul that records our breaks and ties... the heart, a poet’s lexicon our lyric!~ whether triumphs or sighs -- let the heart speak, sorrow also at times a welcomed source -- all poetry! though not settling well to the poet, no ink more when dry his hell -- feelings his life and demise from God’s all the poet prospers, fails yet tries even in death, the prize Romantically dies! --

A well stated realm of the heart that is often ignored. A world wise poem of deep emotion.

Hey Joe, I like how the heart is portrayed as a poet's muse, inspiring verses that capture the full spectrum of human experience, from triumphs to sighs, from joy to sorrow. Even in moments of despair, when the poet's ink runs dry and his soul feels parched, the heart remains a source of solace and resilience. Nice writing..

an enjoyable but powerful and insightful poem, Joe. I especially liked: the heart, a poet’s lexicon. How insightful and true those words are. "Poet tries but falters"--those words resonated with me. To thine own heart be true...well done, Joe. Have a great evening, Sara

Hi Sara; thank you. The poem probably should have stopped right there -- the heart a poet's lexicon. It would have been enough.
