Let Peace Prevail In Our Country Soon

Let peace prevail in our country soon........

When we lost hope for the freedom and peace
there is much more tears shed in our country
When all those innocent people lost faith in their leaders
there is no hope for the bright future in our country
When all those priests become politically motivated culprits
then the people lost faith in our worship places.
When all those handful of leaders make ocean of wealth
by squeezing their poor masses blood
When all those saints sit under the temple
trees and meditate fake for sins for the peace
how could the light of Asia "Lord Buddha's "
teaching of dharma will help us to find peace in our country
Freedom doesn't mean that we can do anything that we want
but do right thing at right time to build up a peaceful nation
How many steps we walk closer towards peace and freedom
but till it will remain an endless journey to find it
Let no more war and violence prevail in our country
Oh God, let peace and freedom prevail in our country soon.

Nor can I imagine priests siding politically with bad leaders. You have confirmed the sadness I feel for people in some parts of the world.
