Let my ignorant bliss be - 1

When and if I wake up and see That life is not but illusion, World too is no more there for me, And there’s no more joy under sun. It is as if all props are out, Realities on my face stare, In awful doubt I show my pout, Where’s life’s thrill if wisdom’s laid bare? My laugh is lost, lost is life's plot, Hair bristle up but there's no thrill, For, when Maya melts, life’s life not, Grey gets spring’s thrill, grows wintry chill. Is ignorance the bliss or life’s mirage? Vague wisdom sits unsure upon life’s hedge. _______________________ Sonnet (Tongue-in-cheek) | 04.11.2016 |ignorance, bliss, joy, world Note: Continued in Part 2.
