Let Me Be Empty

Let me be empty Oh, and weightless a solitary feather on the wind for the weight is heavy like snow pressing on winters limb my heart grown frail now paper thin Come not close lest transparent eyes reveal what lies just beneath the ice A blazing fire frozen in motion so sudden this storm of overwhelming emotions A cold and oh such a quizzical thing how drastically a landscape can change In a soul or a life In a day over night yet neath the soil hides hope of the spring The sun will send its rays and these storms will pass away Opaque tears will turn from days colored frozen back to a brazen fiery way In the book of the broken finding rest on clarities page But today let me be empty Oh, and weightless for so heavy my burdens be cast me a feather floating on the wind till this freezing storm be shapeless

I love the Metamorphisis within these words. I wish for you to be filled with the spirit of weightlessness, for you to have your wings fully stretched and pressing on the winds as they have you rise above frozen ground. May all your landscapes be magnificent as is your spirit. Amen

"till this freezing storm be shapeless" I've said it before but I must say it again... YOU ASTOUND me! This poem exemplifies the strength of your heart and soul! "I WILL SURVIVE" comes through loud and clear! I can't find the words to express my love and admiration for how you can rise above it all and still be sweet Sarai! Love Charlie XOX
