January and February are the coldest months here in Canada and I feel so sorry for the animals that have no shelter and have to forage for their food so I try to leave something out for them.
Oh the weather outside is crummy.
Makes me yearn for days so sunny.
Looking out my front window,
See it snow, see it snow, see it snow.
Brought lots of fire wood inside,
'Cause the wind blows fiercely outside.
Weather man says it's 40 below,
And the wind still blows and blows.
It's the hardest time of the year.
The frost and the cold have no peer;
But inside I can bundle up tight,
Safe and warm by the hearth's fire light.
Oh the weather outside ain't funny;
So I'll leave bread and corn for the bunnies.
I'll feed the birds by my front window.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
