Lesson Lethally Too Late
a lesson lethally too late for the heeding...
so casually they hanged him just today,
millions saw it live on prime-time TV,
how the defeated despot's limp body
dangled, spun so slowly for all to see;
a terrifying tyrant, heard he was,
with military might designed to kill,
he ordered who would live and who would die,
with ruthlessness, he killed his people's will;
oh, how true: wielding absolute power
is just like riding a hungry tiger,
as long as you're astride it, you're alive,
when you fall, you will be ripped asunder!
a lesson lethally too late for the heeding...
