Let's Write A Lento

Lento -Dreaming

 
Dreaming I find myself in a green lush forest,
gleaming the sun touches the many trees;
streaming through the vines and leaves,
screaming-   I even feel the gentle breeze.

It is too real . . . to be just a dreamy dream,
lit by the sun but in a very strange eerie way;
sit, sit is the whisper drifting in the breeze,
bit by bit everything changes to rows of grey.

Constance, oh how marvelous the words you weave to amaze and intrigue your readers. I hope I am up to the challenge to come up with at least an HM in such a great looking contest. All of the responses have been great. I love your ideas for coming up with such great ideas for using forms that bring out the best in many of the entrants.

Curtis, thanks for visiting and for the compliment on my poem example, I am sure your can write a beauty, just think of it as a rhyming poem, you need 6 rhymes for each verse, now just fit it together, looking forward to reading your entry ~
