Lemonade Lucy

First Lady Lucy Ware Webb Hayes,
In 1877 changed White House ways.
Lemonade Lucy she was called,
'Cause she banned the use of alcohol.

I remember studying this in College; I believe it was during the Suffrage Movement - women against alcohol and gambling. You have said so much in just a few lines; a wonderful taste of history, Greg
