Lekker Life

Many a people have said
I lead a LEKKER life
I would have to agree
All because of my wife

It's not because I'm lazy
I'd like to lend a hand
She smiles and says sit down
I follow her command

I like my LEKKER life
It really is quite swell
Some guys wives' like to nag
To me that would be hell

So I count my blessings
The LEKKER'S life for me
Someone wakes me up
It's all a fantasy

P.S to me a LEKKER'S life would be a boring life.
I am glad I woke up! I still feel the same way about nagging
though. Thanks for adding a twist to your contest.

I can't stand naggers either, Richard. I always tell joe how lucky he is that I let him get away with hardly ever doing anything. hahaha. Lekker me, whatever the heck that is!! I like your take on the contest idea.

Ha, I don't know what Lekker life is. But I have a tendency to nag. If you guys have done it the first time, we wouldn't have to nag, lol. Great poem, Rick. I had thought you had a lekker life -the way you said it that it was good -until the end note!
