Leftover Love

You give me the leftovers
And think it must be a treat
You give HER the tempting feast
Which is followed by a sweet

The leftovers of your time
Leftover energy too
I get your love leftovers
Dear, leftovers will not do!

You think that I’m satisfied
With the things you have to give
Well I’m no fool, my dear boy
This is not the way to live!

Keep giving me leftovers
Here's what I might have to do
I’ll give the feast of my love
To someone other than YOU!
