Quote Chosen : Foliage of Farewell
Leaves of Life
Encircled by dainty petite waltzing flowers,
listening to their soft whispers to the bees
and butterflies, my summer days were ecstatic,
eyes felt alive with vibrant colours,
My heart felt vivacious with the sonata of nature.
A spirited foliage of farewell begins its journey,
a veiled bride tiptoeing in with crimson, magenta,
amber…whirling, swirling, twirling whimsical leaves
trees are adorned with, and some
sprawled creating a velvety tapestry
under soon-to-be bare branches,
no less gorgeous than the glorious flowers
ravishingly stunning, and exquisitely opulent,
enchanting human senses, hearts and souls.
Reminisce leaves of my life with
fond heartache, memories both delightful
and agonizing flood my mind, springtime of life
gradually turns into days of grey wisdom,
scars are healed by nature's calming bountiful deliverence,
glide through the season with an ethereal sensation,
existence transcends into a rare melodious composition.
Life's a mystical odyssey - every chapter brings unexpected
twists and turns, with ups and downs at every step
comes the revelation of changing colours,
fading hues, slowly returning to the soil
where we arrived from, to a final
ultimate plight to eternity,
Like fallen Autumn leaves...
saffron,
chestnut,
burgundy,
sage....and more!
