Leaves Fall Down

Leaves fall down - To the barren ground Winter sails inward Wind blows fierce Alone on a hillside - Majestic, at peace Stands the tree in all beauty Without any leaves No thought, plans, or worries - No stress or woe No shame, darkness, or pity “To be” is all it knows The lessons to be learned - Every day, every hour From nature’s calm acceptance To relinquish hope for power We are one with the universe - No beginning and no end We are all here in this together Flora, fauna, Father, friend Written by Leah Chesser 11/27/2012
