Leaves Dream A Dream

Autumn leaves us saddened! 
dazzling with tapestry of gems sprawled
on the ground are flowers of the season,
unique artwork of nature soothing our eyes with
   gossamer golden light of the universe!

Autumn, O Autumn, goddess of beauty, 
your melting colours unravel an irresistible aura 
that bewitches human soul with desire, but 
  envelops with tranquility, and peace! 

Leaves twirling, leaves afloat, leaves
shredded on the carpet of the forest,
remind the impermanence of physical 
beauty, and transcendence of human
       soul with the eternity!

Some day my crimson hopes and dreams 
scattered on the earth will symbolize
the inevitability, the transience of our 
existence - still, what's wrong in dreaming? 
The way fall leaves dream 
  their spectacular comeback every year!
