I am going to say adios to the movies, Where cars are houses, And houses are storehouses. I am going to say adios to the movies, Where boy friends are easily found, But batteries not included. I am going to say adios to the movies Where the girls are looking for the fun, But batteries to be recharged soon. I am going to say adios to the movies, ***Where a son is enamored of his own mother *And in bed a father seeks his own daughter **And blood sister seeks in bed her own brother. I am going to say adios to the movies, Where an unmarried girl wants a child, Her mother takes her to the city ahead, Taking the cows to a bull like a shepherd. Leave your message please, I shall get back to you at ease. * The movie: Art of crying ** The Cruel Intentions II *** Julienne Moore starer ======================================= Fifth place win in Contest: Outrageous Rhyme

Congrats on your win with this Dr. Ram-- I agree it really is outrageous how some plots of movies get crazier? and it seems like we are also getting desensitized in the process? Scary thoughts really and thought provoking message you leave here-- congrats again! thank you as well for always dropping by my poems, really appreciate it -- nikko :)

Yup, the perpetuation of smut, trash, put all that stuff in a kids brain long enough and they think it's normal. I think all those slasher movies should get burnt too (oops, I hate censorship! BUT) my kid didn't get to go! GOOD complaint! Congrad's Light & Love

Not seen one of these in a while, prefer the live stage ... seems art still mirrors reality everywhere, and you still in poetry every care. Bravo, my friend

Dr. Ram, happy to hear you enjoyed Freddie and Fannie. It's better to get a chuckle out of misery than to cry. Today, with Wall street, I'm afraid it's more of the latter. ~Jim (MeanderthalMan)

Well u said it all quite nicely and quite honestly too Dr. Ram... some of the plots and subplots are enough to make one sick to stomach... this is why I'd rather watch sports... action, adventure, a goal in the game, excitement, cheering, and a few penalties to make it interesting... at least u can jump up and down at a game but in the movie u have to sit quiet.. so not for the "Sweetheart" but your poem is absolutely on point my friend.. luv..

Dr. Ram, I'm actually glad I didn't see these movies. Although I'm a big fan of Julianne Moore (she got her start on a soap opera that was recently canceled), I have strong feelings against incest. Never even thought it possible until we read Oedipus Rex in high school. Thanks for letting me know about the update, my friend. I have seen other movies where incest was involved but didn't know you were referring to specific ones. Love, Carolyn

Oh boy...I love this!!! As a big movie fan all of my life...it is becoming harder and harder to find a great movie, that is so dark and ugly, and depressing. It only brings on more breakdown of morality when this is all that is offered in the movie houses. Well done, Dr. Ram!!!

Awesome, Dr. Ram! There is so much immorality (as well as violence) in today's movies that I have to be very selective about what I view. I like the way you repeated the opening line and then concluded with the couplet at the end. Best wishes for success in the Outrageous Rhyme contest! Love, Carolyn
