Leaves have floated into piles,
luminous colors for m i l e s and miles;
burgundy, burnt orange and yellow,
the trees slowly relinquishing SURRENDERING
A cool breeze makes them dance,
some lay q u i e t some prance and leap;
the Autumn sky ever changing,
clouds moving and drifting wildly up ABOVE.
A blustering cold wind takes them,
piles e m p t y where once leaves had been;
then the sun shines on a tree,
and behold leaves like stained glass WINDOWS.
