Leather Jacket Gym shoes, sipping a malt Leather jacket, tight jeans. She fell so helpless with him under the sheets. His skin..total velvet-sweet. Ah, those magenta hues~ From the hotel light flashing. Cable cars bells ringing. A night to remember, her soul singing, Total sexual splendor. She'll forever remember~ Her....San Francisco. Ah...to be young! Best kind of poetry...a slice of life's wonderful experience. Much we forget with age, but never beautiful people and breathless moments. Great read!

Jeff, please do not put yourself down. I do that to myself also. I cringed all day because I could not write a poem till 7pm. There are several in the works. I would love to roll out poems easily as making cookies. I prefer to have some idea or emotion that deeply moves me. Limericks are fun for me, but not something I enjoy doing. The ones that I like doing must have passion in some form. Sorry this was in the wrong place. Panagiota. Thank you for being so complimentary.

No worries Panagiota. I'm always in the wrong place at the seemingly wrong time, but then that's what makes it poetic. If I were always correct then I would truly be upset that something truly went wrong. I'm just a person on this flat Earth (see, covering myself flat earthers) that has been spinning like and is a top. But the cycle will stop; so I give it all I've got. You never know, when the bored kid returns, it may look at the stopped top and sigh, "Stupid toy." Leaving us screaming, "Spin the top!!! Please, spin the top. My god, it's easier then X Box level 3 of a Clancy novel. That's when I enjoyed asking my son, "What did you guys do today?" He replied, "Kick the can."

Jeff~ Thank you many times over! Most appreciated. I hesistated posting it. I do that a lot, feeling I don't measure up to others here. With a mensch, like you, I see that's silly of me. All poets here have different skill sets. Bless you, Panagiota

Never hesitate to post, unless you really truly feel that it isn't you. Everything I've read from you Panagoita is wonderful. Even when you write, don't hesitate to write with YOUR flow. Your mind knows you are a poet.

Hi Noel, thank you. Every time I read it. Warms me up, too. How to explain? I like to "feel" the poem.. This one, especially. Hard for me just to be clever with words.Then, the pen will not move. Found listening to music gets me going. Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz, and other types. Music is breakfast for my soul. Huggs, Panagiota
