Laughing Eyes

Round and round we go,
the day won't last.,
it keeps a secret you can't hide..
no, can't hide it.

Eagle sent to eat my liver-
renewed each night..
Will Zeus feel remorse and forgive
me..,
giving her my fire.

Round and round again,
a captured cuckold heart..
touching that crocodile smile,
left behind right from the start.

Bring those baby rose lips..
you know I never blame them.
Eyes to breast lie fixed,
Winking laugh knowing,
there's no shame in.

A hidden message in those eyes, but you are only mortal a man, who as Zorba said if you are called by a woman be it eyes or breast, it would be a sin to refuse, probably never forgiven by Zeuss, the Greeks belief that eyes can't lie. Enjoyed your write Richard. hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Andrea, It's the light heart of one that walked free of the desert. Perhaps to land in a dive, in the quicksand of life. If the day ends in ruin, I want to go out with a smile. -Richard

Zeus will forgive you. Mortals have all kinds of feelings--no shame indeed--only one life to live.
