Laugh At First Sight

There was a guy who itched for a fight
Wanting to beat the first man in sight
But let his guard down
As he faced a clown
And then laughed for the rest of the night


The human race has but one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.

Hi David, This is a cute poem and laughter is so much needed in this cruel, cruel world we live in. If we all laugh a little, it's the best medicine!!!! I don't get a chance to get on Poetry Soup that much but I finally got on tonight to post a few of my poems. I'm always so busy working on writing my books and short stories.
