Pulling back the hot silken night is the cool morning’s twilight and the dawn of the new song, when lovers knew no wrong The day dawns its lacy skies, as the pastel lingerie gives rise, to the color of a purple haze and the sun sets an orange blaze Today, lovers must soon part but the romance is as art Separated, only by someone’s perception and at the heart, of this conception The two are never, exactly the same but true love knows no shame and it dawned on me in truth The color of love is its own proof 7/22/2018
