Lasting

Lasting love from above
was seen on the Cross
Jesus died, crucified
Love note sent across
Forgiven, I'm driven
to share lasting joy
Sin and doubt blotted out
Peace none can destroy
Broadcasting faith lasting
I am God's child now
He is mine, love divine
Mercy on my brow
Lasting hope helps me cope
He's my strong refuge
Lasting peace, troubles* cease
Bathed in grace deluge
*troubled heart
