Last Gift
As my cache of
earth bound senses
gives way to that
sun-filled place
of unceasing comfort,
I endow you in my honor
protective angels
to surround you
with spiritual bouquets,
petals of insight.
I shall not return to you,
but instead we’ll unite
again in love’s perfect
atmosphere, in full
understanding.
