Land's Future

Icebergs are melting 

Sea level is rising fast-- 


Bleak the land's future!*

*Science has established, beyond doubt, that the window for climate action is closing rapidly. Thus from the 6th of November 2022, world leaders are meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, for two weeks of climate negotiations to cut carbon emissions so that our planet is saved. This Haiku is my tiny contribution.

I can't see all those Factories that produce clouds of smoke and toxic waste stopping anytime soon. But mother earth is dying and is fighting back, evidence we've seen already, with floods, wildfires and air pollution.
