Lamenting Beauty
White wings with gray attire, a fallen angel
But not, that is Muse of beauty with ruby cheeks
And melancholic tone, repenting her existence.
I have listened to her whispered prayer, when she
Accused us of not deserving truth and beauty
She asked Lord God to call her back
Since we, humans, make beauty prison.
Yesterday a child plucked a rose to reduce
The beauty in name of beauty.
She will soon fly for sky, before we
Tear apart her wings to decorate our homes.
