Wind sings praise, and the wings who soar
silent adoration – soft as the light
climbing the skies, breathless and alive
rising in murmurings who bless the night
mounting impressions of the sea’s gentle tides,
flowing with worship, admiring the laughing
beyond the crimson sunrise…
oaks and pines bow and dance, stirring
the wonder afar, nestled against
moss covered stones, glistening dew
glorifying the Creator, the One
who breaks through the heavens
to wrestle with the storm
painting the night skies with stars
strewn with love…
birds hesitate on the fragrant bloom,
sailing into the leaves
where the warmth of light flows,
surrounded by graceful blessings
clear as the night who agrees
wherever there is joy
the praise sings so free
admiring the zephyr,
gusts of wonder…
rain pours from the sky, erasing
every dusty afternoon
through summer’s sigh, in a twisted
brilliance, flooding the heart
with a prayer, impressing praises
over the spirit of truth
in waves of melodies, illusions
epiphany of joy…
falling in petals, blowing
through the life of a robin, a wren
the music, a miracle, godsend
wishing, wistful, whimsical
like the beautiful in a dream
praising the One who is the a still
beyond what the heart can describe,
a mystery, singing…
praise through the heavens,
praise against the indigo skies
walking past the shadows
filling the soul with a laughing sun
who quiets the darkness
bringing peace through the only One
capable of rising, despite the fury
of cries, the passing of a winter night,
the autumn remembers…
admiring the love who comes to us
from above, a flood
discarded by the heart who is sure
the soul who knows blessings
beyond glorifying,
blessings falling from moments
who decide what it means
to believe and receive
the grace of a prayer, a promise
a love that is alive and, though silent,
singing of His eternal splendor,
the praise so intimate…
welcoming hearts to heaven
where we’ll discover
the miracle of praise that lasts
praise that dispels all doubt
praise that is kind, and like light
feels like a warmth so alive
dancing through the softest skies
who remember, it is Him
who is the light, the love, the rising
in each wind, each inkling
praise so intentional
worshiping the One who forgives
saves the soul and fulfills
God’s promise to hearts who believe
He is worthy – He is worthy
of every song, all psalms, each praise
from lips His love gave
hope of a better way…
like the mountains, the seas and the trees –
I’ll praise Him today and every day
with praise for the One who always stays
praise for the love that never grows old
praise for the light who never fades
praise for the hope that restores the way
praise for the wonder of unending grace
praise, praise, praise – for the God of creates
every note in this song of praise…
just stay, a light brighter than the day
a light of love, a light of grace
a light who bleeds gentle in her praise
a light who fills the breath with faith
a light who abides to reveal the safest place,
there with Jesus, on His face –
a light so luminous it fills all space,
a light so resplendent it quiets the storm,
heals the spirit who yearns for her calm,
pours out love inside the one who is reborn!
