The beauty of
Lake Pond Oreille
Green copper-monarch
Mountains rise from the
Deep fresh waters guarding
The sacred wildlife of this
Northern Idaho Panhandle
Ospreys skim the surface
Of this lake with fish dangling
In their claws
What glory and majesty
She possesses in her arms
Truly, a gift from the Gods
