Lack of Reason

Many miles traveled
Many lessons learned
Many thing unraveled
Many times, burned

Patching up pain
Healing day by day
Lies leave a stain
I go on my way

Through troughs so narrow
I can barely fit
So, I listen to the sparrow
As I watch it flit 

Lack of reason
Swirls with a cyclone
In winds of the season
I stand alone

No, you are never quite alone, you have the spirits of all your family and friends all with you...comforting you in times of turmoil! But they only feel present when you let them come to you! Sadness can keep them apart from you and your thoughts! I really really enjoyed reading this amazing write this morning...you have written such a magnificent and truthful poem here Heidi!
