Notes About The Poem

July 10, 2025 for Unseeking Seeker's Kundalini Poetry Contest

Kundalini

Awaken the serpent that lies coiled
at the bottom of your spine. You must!
Transformation cannot happen if
you let your energy turn into dust.

Meditate or chant, and take a breath.
Life’s meaning and your purpose you can see
more clearly when your self-awareness grows.
Enjoy more creativity and spirituality.

Divine is Kundalini energy;
it’s something that all faithful souls can know.
The spirit CAN be touched; the choice is yours.
You simply must allow for it to grow.

As per my understanding of kundalini, you've done exceptionally well in describing its essence and how life is nothing but a reflection of energy and awareness of one's own self! I love the spiritual depth here and the way you've so wisely woven words here, flows together in such a beautiful manner. "Transformation cannot happen if you let your energy turn into dust", " The spirit can be touched" Oh, those lines! Wonderful. Sending you best wishes for the contest, dear Andrea ~

It’s a new term to me as well. I’ll also need to look it up. I do like the mystical feel of your piece. Best of luck in the contest Andrea.

Is this some Eastern meditation thing. I have no idea what that word means, but I know your writing and it's always impeccable. Good luck in the contest.

I do not really understand it except what I read online. The poem is for a contest challenge. I doubt it's a thing I could ever master.

Dear Andrea, ooh you beautifully captured the journey of self-discovery with the importance of meditation, breath, and mindful awareness. “Life’s meaning and your purpose you can see / more clearly when your self-awareness grows”—such a simple truth. Yes, seek out creativity and spirituality, to let our inner light shine brighter with every conscious breath. The way you describe Kundalini energy as something “divine” and accessible to all faithful souls is inspiring. Summer Blessings, My Dear Andrea, Daniel

Good one sweet andrea, you are right, but if only one pays attention and mindfully allow that, the spirit can be touched. I strongly felt the line "Transformation cannot happen if you let your energy turn into dust.l so true! I think this will do well in the contest. Best wishes! Sending you light.

I hope it does ok. I don't quite know what I am talking about about . Many topics I have to research online before I can write about them!

Excellent poetry! "Life’s meaning and your purpose you can see more clearly when your self-awareness grows. Enjoy more creativity and spirituality." Wise words to live and prosper by. Awakening Kundalini Can be disastrous. Requires many years of training and purification. Should only be done with a Master's Guidance.

Yeah. I can't see myself doing it. I can't even sit still long enough for regular meditation
